Yoga & Mindfulness for Toddlers & Young Children

A calm-building, body-based program for today’s childcare environments.

Supporting regulation, focus, and emotional literacy.

Why this matters (for educators & directors)

Today’s children are growing up in louder, faster, more stimulating environments than ever before. Many arrive at daycare already dysregulated—big feelings, busy bodies, short attention spans.

Our in-house yoga and mindfulness program is designed specifically for toddlers and young children, helping them:

  • regulate their nervous systems

  • develop body awareness and coordination

  • build early emotional language

  • transition more smoothly between activities

  • feel calmer, safer, and more connected in group settings

This is not “adult yoga made cute.”

It’s developmentally appropriate, evidence-informed, and deeply playful.

Age groups

Toddlers (18 months–3 years)

Sensory awareness, movement, emotional safety

Preschool & Kindergarten (3–5 years)

Self-regulation, coordination, focus, emotional expression

Elementary (6–10 years)

Emotional regulation, body awareness, confidence, attention, stress release

What the program looks like

Sessions are delivered on-site at your daycare, with no extra prep required from staff.

Each session includes:

  • gentle movement and stretching adapted for young bodies

  • breath awareness through play, sound, and imagination

  • simple mindfulness games that build focus and listening skills

  • age-appropriate relaxation and grounding at the end

Children are never forced to participate. Choice, curiosity, and safety come first.
